Am I supposed to have a certain plugin? I moved the effects into the folder and not sure where the png ver go (put it in the effect/texture Folder).

Hi, no you do not need any plugin. Please copy & paste everything as it is. Select the .efkefc files, select the Texture folder, copy and paste inside your 'effects' folder. There is no need to move files.(or it will break the .efkefc)

Hey I am using MZ on mac OS, I am having trouble getting this to work, I’m new so forgive my NOOBNESS but putting the different files into textures and effects isn’t really working for me, I think I’m trying to do this wrong and should be trying to use the resource manager or something.

Hello, I do not have mac OS but I suppose it works the same way on every OS.  When you download effekseer animations, make sure to keep the file hierarchy as it is. I know some creators use the Texture & Models folders but it's not mandatory.
For example if you download a ***.efkefc file with .png next to it(or any other files), please keep the png(and other files) next to it . You can create a subfolder in your project 'effects' folder: "effects/myEffect1/ (paste all here)".
If something was not clear do not hesitate to ask

This loops in the Effekseer editor (sort of; you can see the animation flicker between the ending and beginning of the loop for a split second), but not the MZ editor. MZ plays the end of the animation, which breaks the loop.

Hello, you need a Visustella (or other) plugin to make it loop inside RPG Maker MZ.
Effekseer animations never loops on their own, you're right.

Actually, I have one I found online that does loop in the MZ editor. I've left it playing for minutes at a time just to see if it looped infinitely, and unless it's set to run for an excessively long amount of time, pretty sure it actually loops without any input after hitting the play button in the editor. I tried to replicate its settings in the Effekseer editor with your aura animations as best I could, and it didn't work. The looping one isn't based on a sprite sheet, so there might be something the typical MZ animations can do which sprite sheet animations can't. Regardless, animations looping while playing in the editor is possible, so I figured I'd ask about it.

Give me 48 hours and I will upload an infinite loop version. I think I've found a way to make it loop infinitely.

But also so expensive

So goood
